About Cedars House

Jan and Jonathan Knibbs welcome you to Cedars House which they have lovingly restored over the years. They married in 1992 and bought the house a few years later. It provided a lovely family home for their children Jake and twins Alice and Matt and gave them the space they needed to run around and play many games such as "hide and seek".  The house was turned into quality self catering holiday accommodation in 2015 and is now available as a holiday let with 8 bedrooms sleeping up to 18 guests.

"A lovely place to meet with our friends for walking and eating. Plenty of space and such quirky decor, only wish I had had 50's clothing with me! Had everything we needed and was very clean."

"Lovely and authentic house! The decor was so quaint and unique. Very large and spacious, suited to our every need. It is very well equipped with everything you could need for a long weekend away. We had a get together there and it was absolutely perfect. The garden was also lovely and picturesque. Absolutely loved it and would highly recommend. Jonathan was super helpful and the trip went very smoothly. The area is also really tranquil, there is a pub and convenience store within seconds' walking distance!"

“We stayed at Cedars house for a long weekend and were really pleased with comprehensive arrival instructions and a very clean and tidy home from home. There were 15 of us so we weren’t disappointed with this huge house. Our children described Cedars House as the best hide and seek playground, and with plenty of rooms to choose from, we all had plenty of space to relax. We visited Perrygrove Railway and Puzzlewood which are both just down the road and with a lovely Indian reataurant next door this really was the perfect location. Thank you
for a wonderful stay and we will be back next year. We believe this to be our new annual reunion mini break”.
